The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reports.

Geolocated footage published on April 2 shows that Ukrainian forces recently advanced along Lenin Street in western Novoielyzavetivka (southwest of Pokrovsk) and captured Nadiivka (west of Novoielyzavetivka). Russian milbloggers claimed that Ukrainian troops advanced to the western outskirts of Solone (southwest of Pokrovsk).

ISW does not confirm the claim of a Russian milblogger who reported that units of the Russian 90th Tank Division had allegedly advanced to the center of Troitske and that Russian forces had captured Bohdanivka (both southwest of Pokrovsk). Another Russian milblogger claimed that Russian troops had advanced southwest of Kotliarivka (southwest of Pokrovsk).

ISW notes that Russian forces advanced northeast of Pokrovsk near Tarasivka, as well as east of Pokrovsk in the areas of Yelyzavetivka, Vodiane Druhe, and Promin. They also advanced south of Pokrovsk near Zelenyi and Vidrodzhennia (formerly Novyi Trud), and southwest of Pokrovsk near Udachne, Novoserhiivka, Nadiivka, Uspenivka, Kotlyne, Novoukrainka, Kotliarivka, Sukha Balka, Bohdanivka, and toward Muravka on April 2 and 3.
