Ukrainian soldiers repelled another armored assault by the invaders in this sector.

Russians once again tried to occupy the territory near the village of Dalne, south of Kurakhove.

The Russian invaders used tanks and other armored vehicles to bring infantry to the front line.

While moving toward the Ukrainian positions, the Russian convoy was detected and destroyed by a Leopard 2A4 main battle tank, which cooperated with artillery.

Having failed to achieve their aims, the Russians landed their infantry in the forest belt. Ukrainian drone operators quickly launched attacks, deploying drones that dropped shells on them.

Despite significant losses, the Russian invaders do not reduce the intensity of their assault operations and attempts to capture the town of Kurakhove in the Donetsk region.

In particular, mechanized attacks by the invaders using tanks and other armored vehicles and infantry continue daily in this sector.

The German Leopard 2 tanks have been in service with the 33rd Mechanized Brigade since 2023. The soldiers have equipped them with additional mounted protection: Kontakt-1 reactive armor units.

The soldiers use these main battle tanks to repel Russian attacks and for assault operations when it is necessary to drive the invaders out of a position.
