Over 400 Russians Surrounded By UKrainians In Vovchansk 'Cauldron'

The Russian forces became trapped when they attempted to advance on the aggregate plant in Vovchansk in order to use it as a defensive operational base. ukrainian drones identified the movement and surrounded the Russians with infantry backed by artillery.

Ukrainian forces blocked the Russian troops at the Vovchansk Aggregate Plant. The Russians cannot leave the territory of the plant, because they fall under artillery fire and drones. And their support cannot reach them because of it. "The optimal option in this situation is to leave them unarmed and surrounded. With no food, no water, no weapons, they will have to surrender."

The Defense Forces of Ukraine blocked russian occupiers at Vovchansk Aggregate Plant. Ukrainian military expert, flight instructor, a reserve colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Roman Svitan assessed the events in Volchansk on the air of 24 Channel.

He noted that he would call it a "fire pocket." This happens when artillery begins to cut off ammunition supply points to some of the positions, as in this case.

"Our artillerymen realized that they could be cut off, because there are only a few lines that russians could use to get into that plant. They crawled into it, but now they are in trouble," Svitan noted.
