8 Foreign Ships Enter Ukraine Ports To Export Grain Russian Blockade Curtailed

Ukrainian attacks on Russian ships in the Black Sea and its liberation of Russian-occupied Snake Island are helping to reduce Russia's blockade of Ukrainian grain exports.

Ukraine has rebuilt some of its port facilities, particularly those closer to the Danube River, with the result that some export of Ukrainian grain is resuming just as the harvest has commenced there. Delivery of NATO anti-ship missiles to Ukraine is forcing Russian ships to stay out of the area and its planes are similarly limited. The danger has not yet passed, but has been somewhat reduced, which benefits the global economy as well as Ukraine's. JL

The Kyiv Independent reports:

Ukraine's Navy reported that eight foreign ships were able to arrive at Ukrainian ports at the Danube-Black Sea Canal to allow for the transport of agricultural products by civilian vessels. Use of the channel was made possible by the liberation of the Russian occupied Snake Island as it allows control over water and air in Southern Ukraine. (But) Russian units recently launched a missile strike on the Millennial Spirit, a ship of Moldova, after which it sank.Ukraine's Navy reported that with its help, eight foreign ships were able to arrive at Ukrainian ports at the Danube-Black Sea Canal to allow for the transport of agricultural products by civilian vessels.
At the appeal of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine joined the organization of ensuring transportation of civilian vessels of agroproducíí стер through the girlo of the Danube-Black Sea river. The first eight foreign ships have already arrived at the ports of Ukraine.
It is worth noting that the use of the said channel was made possible by the liberation of the Russian occupants of the Snake Island, as the island is of strategic importance, as it allows to control overwater and partially air conditions in Southern U countries, what the occupier used to block the movement of civil vessels in the southern part of our country.
Earlier, due to civil shipping blockade, global maritime companies had to use the Sulina Canal, leading to large number of vessels accumulation and significant canal overload.
It should be noted that due to Russian aggression and blockade in the Black Sea, millions of tons of Ukrainian grain were blocked in Ukrainian ports, much of which was intended for the UN World Food Program to combat the global crisis. Partially restored the export of agroprodukcííí чко by the river, Ukraine, thus, helps in solving the world crisis - hunger.
Unfortunately, most ports in our country still remain closed, with some occupied, the enemy is trying to manipulate information like gestures of "good will" to unblock the export of Ukrainian raw materials by sea. At the same time, Russian units continue to strike critical infrastructure facilities and civilian ships in the Black Sea. For example, the enemy recently launched a missile strike on the Millennial Spirit bunker, the flag of Moldova, after which it sank.
Despite the Russian aggression, our country continues to do its best to solve the problem of world hunger.
